The Core Processes
Core Processes describe how self care unfolds over time.

The Six Core Processes
These processes repeat, overlap, and appear in different orders depending on context.
Centering
Pause to notice what is true right now — in your body, your life, and your capacity.
Aligning Values
Remember why this practice matters to you and how it connects to the kind of life you want.
Choosing Outcomes
Name the general direction you’re moving toward, not a perfect outcome or performance target.
Experimenting
Try small, temporary changes to see what helps right now, with room to keep or let go.
Identifying Supports
Find the tools, people, boundaries, and environments that make this practice easier and safer.
Drifting Off Track
Notice when attention shifts or life pulls you away — without calling it failure.
These processes are not steps to complete. You may use any of them, in any order, depending on what you need right now.
You may return to them while working with any of the core practices, or when deciding how to begin again.
