These are actions we experiment with and revisit through awareness.

Simple things we repeat over time as they slowly become habits that support us.

They are living systems within our lives, not achievements or benchmarks. Each has its own rhythms, needs, and vulnerabilities. Each changes over time.

From this understanding, the practice takes shape.

What This Is

This is a small, open container — built for people who are ready to begin, even before the path is fully visible.

This course is an introduction to the Small Steps Lasting Change practice. We explore the four areas of the Foundation of our Practice — Move, Nourish, Rest, and Protect — gaining a bird’s eye view of the whole SSLC Practice, and just enough understanding of the Processes and the Spiral of Change to begin using them in your own life.

Not as a curriculum to complete, but as a living system to begin inhabiting.

How We’ll Work Together

We meet weekly on Zoom for six session — unhurried, conversational, and grounded in what’s actually happening in your life.

Between sessions, a shared practice space we call Circle holds our reflection and keeps us connected through the week.

There is no wrong way to participate. There is no “behind.” There is only forward, in spirals.

What This Practice Space Explores


The Foundation — Move, Nourish, Rest, and Protect. Four domains of daily life where attention, support, and small adjustments make the difference over time.
The Processes — Six ways self-care unfolds. Not steps to complete — tools to reach for. We’ll get just enough of each to begin using them in our own practice.
The Spiral of Change — The underlying model that holds it all together. Enough to see why the practice works the way it does.

Growth is cyclical, not linear.
Attention matters more than intensity.

Drift is not a moral failure — it is part of living in a changing world.

This first group is by invitation. Spots are limited and carefully considered.
